Trick or Treat

We're getting excited for Halloween. We usually get lots of trick or treaters in our neighborhood and we're supposed to have great weather so we'll be hanging out in front of the house tomorrow night.

This year we decided to make some decorations for the yard. We went with the "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" theme. We just painted some extra plywood we had lying around. It made for a fun project.

15 Weeks

Kieran is 15 weeks now.  He is such a joy in our lives.  We are loving every minute with our little man.   He's been "talking" up a storm and giving us lots of great smiles.  His smiles make mom's heart melt every time.

We've had to make some adjustments in our lives since I went back to work three weeks ago.  However, Scott's mom has been watching Kieran during the day, which puts our minds at ease and has made the transition much easier.  We know he enjoys going to grandma's house because when he sees her he gives her a great big smile.  We are extremely grateful to Trish!

Congratulations Michelle and Peter!

Our good friends Michelle and Peter Kong from Virginia welcome today their new baby girl, Sabine James.  She is 7 lbs 10 oz and 19.75 inches long.  Congratulations guys!  The Butlers send much love your way!  Kieran can't wait to meet his new friend!

Happy Birthday Amber!

Yesterday was Amber's 13th birthday.  That makes her 91 in dog years!  So, as custom in this household, she and Kasey got to enjoy a small serving of ice cream.  Here is a pick of the old lady eating her treat.

My First Pair of Jeans

Mom and I went out and bought me my first pair of jeans.  I think I look pretty sharp in them.

Yikes!  I haven't really mastered the sitting up yet.
