Already 6 Months Old!

Our big guy just hit the half-year mark yesterday. To share some photos of the past 2 months I've added another photo gallery link to the right side of the page. Here's a direct link Kieran: Months 5 & 6

It's been an amazing 6 months. He's growing up so fast! He has his 6-month checkup on Friday so we'll get the new stats then. I'm curious about what he weighs now.

We're starting him in daycare on Monday. Naturally we're a bit nervous about that, but we really like the place we're using and it's time to give Grandma a break!

What a Very Merry Christmas!

This Christmas was filled with lots of family, laughter and good cheer.  And it was extra special because it was Kieran's first Christmas.  We are so happy that so many people were able to come and spend it with us!

Kieran got to meet Uncle Eric and Aunt Kazue!

Grandma and Grandpa Pittman also came to see him.   We walked down to campus and took some photos.

And walked by Austin's most hideous light display.

Kieran got to spend some time with his other aunt and uncle, Ryan and Samantha.

Mom got to spend some time with her new niece, McKenzie.  What a cutie (the kid is cute too).

Grandma Butler was in heaven with her two little grandchildren.

Even Uncle Kevin and his girlfriend, Alison, joined in the fun.

And the little ones whispered jokes to each other.  What are they up to?!?!

Oh, and of course, presents!  Kieran had a blast opening them up, with a little assistance from mom and dad.  The little man received lots of gifts for his first Christmas.   Thank you everyone for all of the toys!

And thank you, Aunt Samantha and Uncle Ryan, for Kieran's own special chair!  Now he can really kick his heels up and relax.

When did I get so big?

Kieran is sitting up on his own now.  Here is a pic of him playing with his new toy that his friend Ellie got him.  Thanks, Ellie!  They are such good play pals.

And he is venturing into the world of solid foods.  Here he is getting ready for his cereal.  Can't say much gets into his belly yet.  For now, we're just having fun.

Mmmmm, yum!

He is growing up so fast!
